L’exposition « Machines Pneumatiques » propose de réinvestir la chapelle saint-Joseph de Montfort-sur-Meu en la dotant, d’un orgue mécanique alimenté par un respirateur artificiel et d’un retable contemporain noir et doré rappelant autant les cieux que l’infini sidéral.
Les deux œuvres, présentées dans ce cadre solennelle, créent une atmosphère méditative et allient les questions de la technicisation de la santé, de la prolongation de la vie artificiellement par des machines, de la part d’invisible et de mystère qui nimbe la vie et d’un possible au-delà.

The exhibition « Pneumatic Machines » proposes to reinvest the Saint-Joseph chapel at Montfort-sur-Meu, by equipping it with a mechanical organ powered by a medical ventilator, and a black and gold altarpiece reminiscent of both the heavens and the sidereal. Presented in this solemn atmosphere, both works create a meditative mood, and combine the questions of technologization of healthcare, of artificial prolongation of life by machines, of the part of invisible and mystery that halos life and of a possible beyond.
